Stefan Schmid

Stefan Schmid · University of Vienna

Stefan Schmid is a Professor at University of Vienna, Austria. He received his MSc (2004) and PhD degrees (2008) from ETH Zurich, Switzerland. In 2009, Stefan Schmid was a postdoc at TU Munich and the University of Paderborn, between 2009 and 2015, a senior research scientist at the Telekom Innovations Laboratories (T-Labs) in Berlin, Germany, and afterwards an Associate Professor at Aalborg University, Denmark. Stefan Schmid's research interests revolve around the fundamental and algorithmic problems of networked and distributed systems. Stefan Schmid received the IEEE Communications Society ITC Early Career Award 2016.
